BME regularly participates in international tenders. The aim is to strengthen purchasing, SCM or innovation at European level or to enable developments, together with international partners.
Since 2018 BME has been managing the "Procure2Innovate" network on behalf of the European Union. Finding solutions together, becoming better or breaking new ground - along with its partners, BME is the enabler, partner and coordinator for better procurement.

Buy better, take advantage of opportunities and not only have suppliers on your doorstep, that is the goal of PubProc4EU.
After two successful events in autumn (Germany-Czech Republic-Austria) and the beginning of March (Germany-Netherlands-Belgium), the country constellation Germany-France-Belgium came to an end on March 25th of 2021.
“It is important for us to anchor cross-broder procurement more firmly in the purchasing strategies at this event,” says Marlene Grauer, BME project manager. "It's about showing the advantages, creating networks and explaining approaches - but also reducing uncertainties that are still associated with cross-border procurement."
With this project, BME, the largest purchasing association in the European Union, is once again providing a platform for the exchange of best practice and business opportunities, especially for SMEs and public purchasing.
